In the Chiricahua Mountains, southeast Arizona, retracing the steps of Capt. T.T. Tidball's scout with Co. K, 5th Calif. and Co. A, 1st New Mexico, out of Ft. Bowie, in search of the Chiricahua Apache, July, 1864. 25 miles marching during the weekend.
